| I have about 30 gallon cans of some really cool paint colors, from oil to acrylic, I was wondering when I am mixing a batch if I could just pour some in and use it instead of the concrete powder. It would be a good way to recycle old paint, I ahve some really cool looking valspar brown. It would also be a cheap way to get paint thats market down.
Thanks in advance, Brad |

| Brad, I tried using paint 3-4 years ago. I used some craft paint and it faded out. I wanted a soft color so didn't use much. At the same time I squirted some craft paint on the side of the mold, which made blotches but that color is still there. Don't think it will hurt anything but it may not stay. Kathy |

| I wouldn't use oil based paint. Strong alkali and oil yields soap. |
