acid wash?and other stuff

OK-you acid wash a cement floor before putting a finish on,I'm guessing for better adhesion.Does anyone out there routinely do so before finishing their pieces?

And,BTW,thanks to those who recommended the cement "paint"of the mold prior to pouring.Gives a great finish!

And,again,BTW,at least for face molds,I do'em with a wet mix.Not runny, but as one set of instructions said,"semi-liquid".Works like a charm and allows those nasty bubbles to escape more easily.

cheers
