I suspect that entirely depends on your recipe.
Any slurry made with lots of water is going to be weaker than a recipe less water dependent.
I've spent a lot of my spare time recently pouring thin 'pigment colored' slurries on sheets of plastic and testing the results.
I have found some recipes to be extremely strong, some to be extremely interesting (crazing like old pottery for instance), and some not worth the effort.
Perhaps coastal concepts will share his exact recipe.:)

Beware of weather. A friend of mine bought a concrete cat and a pig that (later) appeared to be made this way. In late winter, thin (1/8"-1/4") slabs of the surface began to fall off in sheets.

Isn't it annoying how Mother Nature keeps ruining all the good ideas?

I agree with Sue.
I'm testing my slurries and topcoats in my freezer.
Even freezing them in water then putting the block out in the sun to melt and then freezing them again.
I don't want to go to all that work and have my stuff falling apart a year later.

So far so good.:)
