These are beautiful! How did you make the color variations in the square shaped trough?

Color pigments (iron oxyde) are used to color material, we maked many batch of differents color et puted them in the mold on at the time.

Clovis,

I love your troughts and the plants. The little plants are cuttings or seedlings? I just started to collect conifers and would like to try to grow them. May I email to you for more information? I love your garden!

You sure can...

Most of my alpines come from seedling or natural propagation of the mother-plants.
90% of my trees comme from cutting, the other 10% are grafting.

I tried 215 new species this spring, seeds are comming from exchanges (Nargs and other societies).

Nice troughs! Very nice work. Would look even better if you covered your concrete blocks with tufa, too.....your pots and troughs would look much better atop of something nice! Your next project!
