Row, Row, Row your boat, gently down the STREET!

Just reporting in from Homestead, Fla. Former home of Hurricane Katrina. It was one hairy night, but all the concrete creations survived out there without a scratch.

Oh, and the family and house is fine too! Lost about 1/2 my avocado crop. Little buggers were like 2 lb. missiles out there!

Streets flooded, lots of people without power, but thankfully little loss of life. Should keep really humid for the next few days - great for Tufa!

She's now in the Gulf of Mexico strengthening. If you are in her predicted path, my advice to you would be to head for the hills!

Glad you're safe, if wet. Sorry about the avocados, though. On reading the title of your post, I thought you'd tufa'd a boat.

So,are you using this time to watercure your tufa?
