using two or more batches on a large project

| I am one of those 'seniors' and I have back problems. So I cannot finish a large project in one cession. I am careful about keeping color ratio same so that is not a problem. I often have a line that is quite apparent between new and old. I have tried being careful about getting the joints as close as possible - pushing new firmly against old. I have also tried thinning the edge of the old. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks |

| Mix all of your dry ingredients at one time and set aside part of it for your next mix. What is your mix? Are you using anything else besides water like dye or fibers or acrylic admix. You can also put a slurry on your completed piece to cover the entire outside. How big is the piece that you're working on? Billie |
