I was wondering if anyone has considered using hypertufa as a foundation wall coating? It could provide a more natural look after a period of time and be more aesthetically pleasing to the eye than masonry block.

RE: hypertufa as foundation coating

I thought this subject heading might be more helpful than my previous heading. The question is the same: Has any thought of or tried using hypertufa as a foundation coating?

RE: hypertufa

My dh insulated our foundation with blue board (digging down six feet or 2 feet down and 4 feet out) and then he covered that with structural skin, which is like a stucco. There was an additive to make it stick to the blueboard. Looks better than the concrete and insulated too.
Sorry that wasn't really your question, but since you are looking to improve the looks of your foundation, apparently, I thought I'd mention it.
