Another JT Question

Was sitting here going thru rules and regs of jt. I've heard the term flat rate box being used. How does this work? My thots is that if the box is rated for 20#, then it doesn't get packed more than 20#??????????? Never used a flat rate before. Don't want to sound like a duh head, but better to ask that to screw up. Thanks. Loving reading all the posts. And the mascot is soooo cute. Perfect for the JT 09.

Hi again~

Well, the way I understand it is that this type of box has a shipping rate of $12.95 and it has no weight requirements. So, that is why we want to fill it as much as we can. The box is only 12x12x6, so we can't put anything huge in it, but we can fill it nice and tight! Of course, we can't put something in it that will break the postal carrier's back, cause that would tear the box up as well. Hope this info helps!

Thanks it does. Didn't no if there was a weight limit or how that worked
