I'd be willing to jump in and be your assistant. I'm new to this junk train thing ....but sure sounds like fun. Just let me know what I need to do. It stated in one of the postes that it took JT a whole year to make the rounds so starting at the beginning of the year sounds like a good time. The sooner we get started the sooner the fun begins. One question ....please clarify what happens to the junk in the box? Does the first stationmaster fill a box and forward, keep the contents, re-fill the box and send on to the next stationmater? I really feel out-of-it asking, but haven't quite got that part clear in my head. And by no means do I want my conductors hat to fall off because my head isn't screwed on right!!

correct me if I'm wrong, but you pick out what you'd like to keep- and make sure the box is filled to the brim when you send it on!

Yup, you pick out what you want to keep & you add more junk to fill the box...it's amazing how much good GJ can fit in that box! Here's what I took out when it came to me from Purplemoon:

And the box was still over half full...can you believe it! It's fun when people post pics cause you can see if something you put in there is taken out...it may travel 3 or 4 stations & then, suddenly, you see something that someone decided to keep! Alot of fun! Takes alot of organizing from those conductors...so thank you, nmmexico & oldcrafty! I'd like to see it begin on Valentine's Day...I don't think it will interfere w/Spring Fling since that's probably March or April. Jeanne S.

Thanks Jeanne for clarfying what we do with the contents of the box. We all have different likes and dislikes and this certainly is a good way to keep only what appeals and offer the rest to someone else. I can hear that train warming up!!!!
