Wow, that's a lot of teeth out at 1 time. Hope they have you on antibiotics ahead of time as they always do that out here. Keeps you from getting raging infection. At least you will be"out" so not feel it but have good supply of pudding & Jello made up. I thought ice would help me heal after I had my wisdom teeth taken out-ha! almost ended up in hospital but they finally tracked down my dentist-seems the ice actually caused more swelling so I looked like I had the mumps-was only to eat & drink mildly warm & lukewarm food & drink. I always thought ice reduced swelling- not in your mouth I guess. You are in my prayers! Take it easy afterwards so you don't "pick up anything else" while you are recovering! Good Luck,Jan

Thanks for the kind words!I did have antibotics before and since. They told me 'ice' too and it worked for me. 10 minutes at a time. They told my daughter to use bags of frozen peas to prevent swelling, with her wisdom teeth years ago, so I bought peas-LOL They gave pain pills for inflamation and pain. Hardly any pain, but took them to help prevent inflamation. Rinsing with warm salt water after eating.
I got jello, yogurt, icecream, frosties from Wendy's, chicken soup, and cooked a roast with 2 packs of dry onion soup for beef broth. My DD got the roast part-grin. I did ham in the food processor (for ham salad sandwiches at garden club on Monday) and had extra ham for ME for today.
Someone said 'that will make you lose weight' HAH-not with all those goodies to eat.....
I felt fine as soon as the numbness and anesthesia wore off... The meds made me sleepy, but here I am at 3 AM on the comnputer....
Again, thanks for the thoughts and prayers. I am sure that is why I had almost no pain!
