Christmas shopping today --- 90% off

This is the time of year I "GLOW" !!! Hobby Lobby has 90% off of Christmas stuff . For people looking for good stuff , it's a disappointment - but for us junkers -- it's a dream come true !!! I got $100 worth of stuff for $10 .

No drug can get me this high !!! I got huge plastic ornaments ( that can be mosaiced ) ... Wooden stars ( that are going into Garden Junktion ) ... and what I was looking for but couldn't find .... those styrofoam ornaments that are wrapped with what looks like "thread" - I wanted to make some of those Beaded ornaments like long ago .....

You name it ... I bought it ! I actually feel like an addict that got her fix . Whew ... that was heaven !

***** Now's the time to check out the stores ... they're already clearing the shelves for Valentines day .

You really did well!! I was looking at my mom's ornies at xmas. My aunt made them she died in '73 & gave us them probably about '68. They are similar to what you are talking about but the lady that made them wrapped a satin or taffida?sp? like ribbon from top to bottom all over the ball & then did the beading. Mom's still look good. Mine tarnished as I had them hanging from cords in entrance to LR, I think the natural gas air blew right on them. I think she paid $10 each so they were expensive for back then. We each got 4. Wonder if Michael's even has colored corsage pins. Sure would love to redo mine. I'll get them down & see if it looks possible. Jan
