CHAMP 4 Months Old 2010

This is the story of "Champ".

After mourning for our Chacha we said NO MORE DOGS, it hurts too much when they go to doggie heaven.

That lasted about 2 weeks. Then both of us said we need a dog.

So Manuel DH says he wants a Rottweiler and I said No another Lab like Chacha.

I contribute to the Humane Society and they send me emails and the day we decided to get a puppy, I received an email from them.

I told DH Maybe we should rescue a puppy from Humane Society so we went and saw the cutest pair of pups brother and sister we said lets get them both.

So wouldn't you know it both had been signed for to two different families and were to be picked up the next day by 3:30 pm.

I asked what if they change their minds, well you can place your name second.

So we went back next day at 3 PM, one was being picked up but the other one changed their mind.

So we got him.

He is supposed to be Lab and something else!

But all we know is that he is handsome, learns quickly and is learning to obey us.

I AM IN LOVE!

His name is Champ which is short for Champurrado, which is a Mexican hot chocolate drink. He is Chocolate Brown and White with the cutest ears. He tips his face than lifts his ear!

I know God send him into my life to always remember to be positive which translated means

"TRUST IN THE LORD"

What a great looking pooch! I know he'll bring you and your family much love and lots of smiles! I'm happy that you decided to get another dog...animal folks just have to have them...even though it's hard to lose them, it's harder not to love them!

So very happy you have Champ! He looks like he will turn out to be a GREAT furry companion. What a beautiful color too! The history and past will always be remembered but it's great to have a new beginning!

What a beautiful dog!! He looks so intelligent,and will be great companion for you. Didn't know labs came in 2-tone!! I really love his coloring. If he's a mix they say "mutts" make the best pets. He just looks like "pure love" to me!! Enjoy! Jan

he has such warm and trusting eyes. Im in love with my new pup so i know exactly what you mean!
He really is a unique dog cant say I have EVER seen one like him.GORGEOUS!

Champ now has found a loving home! And when you & DH are moaning
& groaning over the puppy stages,
remember that old quote, "This too shall pass." LOL!

I think you are smart to go ahead and get another furchild so quickly. He is so beautiful and really smart looking. I know he will be a great comfort and joy. I can't imagine not having my little companion.

Champ is a very handsome fella! Love the name you gave him ... it is so fitting! He looks like he could be a handful. I'm glad you were able to give him a happy and loving home. Hopefully he can help you heal over the loss of Chacha (another very cool name). Those are some mighty big feet he has there!
