Update on Susie's Dad

The doctor let my Dad go home since his sister will be with him. It may take six weeks for the blood clot to break down from his chemo port that causes his arm to be useless. They will resume the experimental drug plus chemo this next Monday anyway.

I believe that God is not allowing me to be the lead helper in this family crises. I seem to have been there many other times but 'nothing' has worked out to make it all happen this time. My Dad didn't even want me to come there. Sometimes God just thinks of a better plan than I do. Go figure! Letting go and letting GOD is not easy.

He obviously has greatly benefitted from your prayers, I know I have!!! Thank you for your compassionate hearts and willingness to pray.

Wonderful news, Susie. I hope you are feeling a bit less stressed now.
And being born in Ala., I sure understand the sentiment about kleenex in the South. I think I 'inherited' that line of thinking. Nothing beats a hug or a friend's shoulder in my book.

Tell your dad...we don't care if he's the handsomest or the ugliest...we love him and are praying for him to get his strength back and be healthy!!
