Mosaic project

I took a mosaic class. I've posted my ungrouted piece at the Stained Glass and Mosaic forum to get ideas about grout color. Its not garden junk, but I thought my friends here might like to take a look.

And I've got lots of mosaic garden junk in the planning stage, in my head!

I wrote a message, guess it ended up on other forum. I thought it would look good in charcoal or black grout. Jan

That is very cool, you did a great job. I love all the dishes you used. I think I need to take a class to to get started. I need something to light a fire under my fat winter behind.

oooh,pretty! how did you wind up finishing it??
i LOVE mosaic stuff; i prefer broken dishes,too! i don't feel so bad breaking up chipped and cracked or crazed dishes and i get to look at them all the time :D
