Passing along some sad news

Hello all~

A lot of you know who "Purplemoon" is as she is the author of our Garden Junk albums and was a frequent poster until a few months ago. She has had so many things going on in her family and her father has been struggling healthwise for months now. I just read over on the Holiday forum that her dad passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday evening. He was in the hospital, but certainly was not expected to decline so fast. Please keep Karen and her family in your prayers as her Dad has lived with her for many years and she has been his caretaker. She is going to need all of the support she can get from her friends.

I saw it over there. All the family was at bedside when he passed so that was good as none of family will have regrets for "not getting there" I think that is way we all want to go, surrounded by family. Hugs & prayers for whole family. Jan

Awwww ... that is so sad :( I know how much Karen loved her dad and he seemed like such a wonderful man. I will definitely keep her and her family in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for sharing, Marlene!

Marlene, thank you so much for letting us know. Karen is such a sweetie. Being so involved in caretaking of a parent is a great task. Hard though when it is do sudden. My prayers will be going up for her and her family.

Purplemoon, you have my condolences and my prayers for your family. It's always tough to lose a family member.Everyone gave me a lot of support when Bill died, and we all support you now.

Its been a difficult two weeks, but my Forum friends have
lifted my spirits and truly 'made a difference'.
