My great news is that the fires are now all contained and we shouldn't be getting any more 'alarms' and I shouldn't have to 'escape' to safety anymore.

We've actually had rain, too!!

I want to thank all you wonderful people for your prayers. These past 3 weeks have been horrific and I don't know what I would have done without all you wonderful people. The concern and care I've gotten from you all have been a source of strength for me. I could have not made it through this ordeal with you guys. You all are a Godsend!!!

Cait, I'm so glad that the fires are all under control now and that you and your family made it through safely. Hopefully now you can get some peaceful sleep and catch up on your rest. Sweet Dreams and God Bless.

What a relief to know that you can finally go home and stay there and feel safe! Thank God, you, your family and your house were spared. I would miss your lovely garden as much as you would. My heart goes out to those who were less fortunate. I am so happy for you! Thank you for sharing your joy :^)

So glad you are feeling safe at home!! Hope it is over & that the rain was enough to soak the ground. So many people in your country suffering from losses due to fires & floods in different part of country. Both so hard to deal with!
