That's a great idea! I did end up just setting it up on the shepherds hook there. ---AND I have a birthday party to put together foe Sean tomorrow. This weekend for sure!!!

I've read some amazing articles of how people actually get them to eat out of their hands! That would be great, wouldn't it? I know it was a great experience....I had one last summer that would keep me company while I worked....he would zip around and land very close to me and just talk up a storm....I'm always in awe of how trusting animals can be of us humans! Thanks for sharing the story with us....makes me wish warm weather would speed it's way along to VA!

Sounds like something I'd read in Birds & Blooms magazine. They always have stories of people interacting with hummers. They do seem to be very friendly little birds but why not? They can fly away so fast that no one could catch them. TFS!
