More Prayers for Bob Needed

Bob my son in law is suffering so much, they could not give him chemo again!! Now he had fluid build up in his lungs, they had to aspirate the lungs through his rib cage and drain him again. BUT finally he had chemo in the hospital 18 hours of it, just finished at 8 PM tonight, of course he has all the discomfort that comes with that, nausea, etc. They did insert a catherter into abodomen so home nurses can drain fluid when he goes home. But this could become infected because of the chemo so he will continue on antibiotics. I am so afraid that they release him from hospital before he can move around. I will be with him tomorrow, but then I go to Chicago on Sunday to be with my daughter Michelle at Educators Conference. Will be back on Thursday! Thank You All My Angels for praying for him! GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

I am so sorry that Bob is not doing well yet.
I always pray for 'no pain' for cancer patients.
It worked for my Hubby, Bill (who died 3 years
ago today). He had very little pain with his
cancer, and I think it was the 'no pain' prayers....

Dear Lord, be with Bob. We ask for complete healing
and no pain. Thank You, Lord. Amen

I'm glad they finally managed to get some chemo done so maybe it will stop the fluid buildup. Prayers for the whole family & for the nurses tending to him. Prayers for your safe trip to be with your daughter & that you will have an enjoyable trip & some fun too, you deserve it. It's been a very trying year for you. Hugs, Jan

Gosh, the poor guy can't seem to catch a break! Prayers will continue to go out for Bob. I hope through all this suffering they are able to stop the cancer. Let him know we are all thinking of him and praying for him. I know my co-worker Terri (I realized a few weeks ago that I spelled her name wrong in all my posts about her - DOH!) was touched by your thoughts and prayers. I'm sure it will provide a little bit of comfort for Bob to know that too. Thanks for the update and please keep them coming.

P.S. Enjoy your stay in Chicago. You will be about 90 miles south of me. I'll wave south on Sunday so be sure to watch for me. he-he

Enjoy your time with your daughter.

Thank You Angels for praying for Bob he is still in hospital he is due for more chemo but he has an infection in his mouth and throat ulcers. The nurses at UCI Medical Center are so compassionate they take care of only cancer patients so they must see a lot of sufferings but their kindness is outstanding. God Bless them ALL. The amazing part in all this is that I have not had much time to think about myself, but just got my diabetic lab work done and it is the best I have ever had my A1C is 6.4 normal is under 6.0. My trip to Chicago was wonderful I will post some photos of my Grandson Beto he would not leave our side he stayed in our room all the time.
Dear Lord I lift all my Garden Junkee Angels that all their needs be taken care of.
    God Bless

Thank you for the update, and great news on YOU. But I am so sorry for the suffering Bob is going thru. Its heartwrenching. I'm glad he has fantastic nurses, that can make such a difference for a patient. When my son was in the burn unit years ago, I was astounded at those nurses. They dealt with such horror, and were so incredible, and I loved them all. After 6 months with them, they became more like family. I often think good nurses are Earth Angels.

Prayers continue for Bob, and the whole family.
    hugs, Karen

Prayers continue to go out for Bob. It is wonderful that through this horrific ordeal he has wonderful nurses to care for him. It makes such a difference to have such great caretakers in the hospital. It makes being there so much more pleasant. Hopefully with such great care, he will get rid of the infections and be able to get on with his chemo so he can heal.

And it is great to hear that you are doing so well too! Caring for others must agree with you. :^) Hugs to you both!

nanagrandma...I did not add in my post that your SIL, Bob, continues to be kept in prayer & to thank you for the update. Yes, BLESS those nurses, they are all "earth angels" as PM said above (and luna). And, those GK's are God's most precious gift! Good news on your health & fun trip! TFS! Jeanne S.
