Happy Easter to you too Marylee! I know what you mean about Spring bustin' out....it has finally arrived here too and I LOVE it! Winter seemed especially long this year, so I'm ready for my gardening to begin!

We are getting April showers and showers and showers and showers and showers ... hopefully that means lots of beautiful flowers this summer. I have seen some forsythia blooming and the daffodils are still a little timid about blooming. Most flowers, shrubs and trees are holding out up here. But I was glad to see red-wing blackbirds and turkey vultures again. They are a couple of the last birds to return north.

Oh that is good news for you, Marylee! We had some warm weather, then got nasty, cold & snow for a few days, then rain, cold & wind the last couple days...now a warming tread is coming. I have tulips, daffodils & crocus blooming...so our April showers should bring on more May flowers!

Your yard sounds like a great place to GJ...I am glad you'll be out there soon! I am envious of "privacy fences"...that's why I decorate old barn doors & have them in my gardens! & Happy b'lated B'day! Jeanne S.

My yellow irises are blooming like crazy, I only bought 2 but I guess when I divided them I got a lot more as I don't see any purple ones. I always have purple & 1 yellow, now it's about8-10 yellow ones with about 3 flowers on each stem. Roses are blooming again too. Moss roses are about 2 in. tall, my favorites. Late, Nite! Jan

Hello, Everyone! It sounds like gardens are springing up everywhere. Here in Ohio we are getting a lot of rain (every day) but the tulips are in full bloom and all the flowering trees are going strong. Everything is greening up nicely especially the grass! Oh, well, mowing grass is good exercise. - Marylee
