I have looked into it and unfortunately you have to have a signed contract by 4/30/10 with a closing by 9/30/10 (it was 6/30). Our contract was signed after 4/30. Now if our offer on the other house had come through, we would still be eligible for the tax credit. Right now it doesn't look like we can take advantage of it.
