This is the first 4th of July that dh and I will be home for many years. His dear mother was born on the fourth of July and she died last year on June 1. We spent on last years 4th in Maine with his sister and her husband and remembered her. Its weird to be home. Her birthday was a family gathering time.
When she was a little girl, she thought the parade and the fireworks were for her, lol.
She was almost 91 when she died which was remarkable because her family was not particularly long lived. We were lucky to have her for so long.

Here's the 4th of July Uniform. Just doing gardening today. You would think the neighbors passing by would finally be used to my pinwheel headband. You get out there in the flower bed and those pinwheels can make a breeze for you. It's even better than Solar Power! I just love being called the "Crazy ol' Gardening Lady". I can do crazy!!!!!! HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYBODY!!!!

Susie, I love your headband. I gardened tod ay too, plus we had some work to do at the building I manage. We can see the fireworks from our house, especially the 2nd floor front porch. Dh wants to go on th roof (ladder!) but I've had a glass of wind, so I dont'think so!
