Our visit with calamity_j!

Dh and I are just back from our longest vacation in years. More than 2 weeks in WA and BC and the islands including Vancouver Island where calamity_j lives! Sooo one of the best part of the vacation was visiting her and seeing her garden and art work, also meeting Klinger/Cindy and her friend Sue. We had a nice lunch at her house and then went to an awesome garden called Barton & Leire. Here are a couple of pics and a link to more. Sorry that there are so many of all of us, just skip through those if you want, lol. We talked a bit about mosaicing and I complained bitterly that my parents had never bought me a rock tumbler tho I desparately wanted one as a kid (they thought it was a scam). And what do you know the rock tumbler fairy put one on our car in Jane's driveway!

That is so great when Junkers can get together...I'm glad the rock fairy finally found you...But now you have to show your creations...lol

It was the B.E.S.T.!!!, meeting Kathy and Clif, going to the Garden Gallery! And having a luncheon too! I had Soooo Much F.U.N.!!! Garden Junkers are THE BEST!!! Kathy, I'm glad you/Clif made it home safe and sound! And ANY more Garden Junker wanna come to this neck of the woods...Call Me!!!!heh heh! Party...oh ya...Party....

It looks like y'all had such fun! Isn't it fun to meet people in "real life?" I haven't met any Garden Junkers but I have met other friends from the internet. Some are my best friends now. I loved seeing the Barton & Leire gardens and calamity_j's wonderful mosaic creations! I think purplemoon and I would have been fighting over that bunny! he-he Hopefully we will have many more junker meets in the future!
