Help! Writing a plate flower tutorial

Posted by concretenprimroses 4B NH (My Page) on

Hi,
Some people who have seen the plate flowers on my blog have asked for a tutorial. I would love suggestions for essential information, and of course I'll provide links to this forum.
The basic pile up your plates once you find a pleasing combination and use ge ii is obvious (tho I will mention that some folks drillthe glass with a ceramic bit.) But what about backings now that we have so many new ideas?

Any help would be appreciated. And I'm asking at the last minute, because I promised it for Sunday. I've decided that most weeks I'll post on my blog only on Sundays and Thursdays. Other wise I spend time on line instead of on my creative projects.

Well I did it

And I'm doing it in 2 parts. On Tuesday I'm going to post about the many ways to attach it to the stem. And put my just finished ones out in the garden. Still welcome suggestions. I can edit my post too if anyone notices blaring errors.
