Well, did we have an adventure yesterday! We got a call from a campground friend about all of the damage that had been caused by Tropical storm Ida and lo and behold, when she sent the pictures, our poor little camper was totally destroyed! Between the tears and the laughs, I have to say that God was so good to us! My DH and I are such junkers and we had really "beach junked" our camper. We spent all day yesterday searching through the mud, sand, and yuck uncovering what we could. I was totally amazed at how much of our "junk" we found! Wonderfully enough, we found all of our favorites! My DH even has his kayak found a LONG way from the camper site. He was a very happy camper indeed! Just wanted to share our day with all of my GH family~ Here's what's left of our place on the bay! The huddled mass in front was our screened front porch! Won't be going back....after losing two campers, I think it's time to regroup.
