I wish I had an answer, but I have to do the same thing....sigh.

I don't beleive its possible without a host site. I down load my pictures from my camera and then I open photobucket and down load the picture and I also have open gardenweb in a second window and just copy the image from photobucket to my message..

Someone posted about Tinypic sometime ago...maybe you want to try that. I opened a free Photobucket site to be able to post here. Good luck! We love pics! Jeanne S.

I do the same thing, Sandy. It just takes a little less time when I can upload photos from my docs where I like to keep them.

I don't think it is possible. I use picassa to organize my photos on my computer and I can directly upload photos to my blog from there. However I think picasa is actually "hosting" my pics on line, it just does that for me without me having to go through the steps so it feels direct. I've heard that after storing a certain amount of photos for your blog they start charging you a small amount. I can't put a pic on this forum "directly" from picassa, only blogger.

Yes, I think tinypic.com is the simplest way to go. Just follow the directions, and copy the top line then paste it here in your posting. Took about two minutes to get this one.
