| Just starting to daydream about GJ'ing in the Spring...here's my tipsey buckets (watering can), my DH & I did last summer:
And here it is now:
And here's my old barn door out in the secret garden in the pines last May:
And here it is this winter:
MY DH scrapped out an old corn auger & he saved the "auger" for me...here it is leaning against old shed & also hanging on the shed are some metal bands from an old whiskey barrell...I need a couple more to make one of those spheres that some GJer's have made on this forum.
Don't know how I will use the auger...I know I will "plant" it somewhere! Any ideas how you would use it?? Hope you enjoyed seeing some Iowa Winter GJ! Jeanne S. |

| The pictures are great. The garden things give you something of interest to look at in the world of white. I need to get more things that I can leave outdoors in the winter...everything I have now is glass and has to be brought in for the winter. I love the look of the snow in the pictures....I just hate having to live with it for so many months out of the year! |

Pictures with snow are good--Here we just have brown plants and weeds now, with the unusual cold that we have had. I have a lot of cutting back to do. I am one of the ones who made a barrel stave sphere, and mine was bright colors. I took it apart last year to re-paint, but have not done that yet. Procrastination! |

| Jeanne....that snow looks very familiar! Only difference is that a lot of my junk is completely covered at the moment! As always, your creations are beautiful! Love the auger and whiskey barrel rings....my DH and I uncovered some of those when we were cleaning up near our woods after the last snow...I'm thinking I'll make one of those hanging spheres too...when I can walk without having to wade in the snow! |

| Great pictures as always, Jeanne! Carmen's right, that sun isn't lookin' too cheerful in that second picture. lol Love the picture of the shed and I can't wait to see what you do with the auger. |

Jeanne - love the red gate against the snow - the color is awesome, and the pine just sets it off. Also the grass in the watering can - love, love, love it! Arlene |

| The corn auger (imo) would be a wonderful bird house pole cemented in the ground. I would plant purple hyacinth bean vines which would grow very fast and very tall around and around the pole. They put out beautiful purple flowers and purple beans. |
