Rainbow Totem

Hello Gang!

I haven't posted anything in a while, so I thought I'd share the Totem I made this Winter while the weather was cold and gray. I wanted to use all the main colors of the rainbow, in their proper order. Finding the right colors in the right sizes and shapes was quite a challenge, which made it all the more fun! The purple was tough, and I wish the piece I found was brighter, but it is what it is! Enjoy! Kathy

that is one gorgeous totem! How pretty it looks against the snow. I think you had a wonderful idea that many of us are gonna hafta try now!
Better watch out, with the sun streaming through it, you might have a leprechaun lurking about looking for that pot of gold!!

This is lovely draped in coats of many colors. And your placements of each piece compliments the next piece. Very good job.

    Thanks Everyone!
I think this is my favorite totem so far. I know it's my tallest! I'd love to see some of you make your own, and post your results! Every one would be different. I'm going to keep an eye out for the rainbow colors and hopefully find a brighter yellow and purple, to make another one... Kathy

That is a very cool totem! I never have good luck finding colored glass that is inexpensive, so I just stick to the clear, but every time I see a piece like this that turned out so pretty, I just want to buy it all up and make one of my own. Nice work!
