Interesting, I haven't heard of pineapple sage before. I have apple mint & chocolate mint which makes a lovely smelling tea. What do you do with pineapple sage, use it like regular sage? Jan

Pineapple sage can be used in salads or as a garnish. It really smells like pineapple and is a wonderful addition to an herb garden.

It's been used in folk medicine in warm countries.

I mostly use it for hummingbird and butterfly attraction. It blooms in late summer in the garden; in late winter in the greenhouse. Planting in cans is just a novelty until time to plant outside.

It is such a nice smell when you crush the leaves too. It adds to the 'zen' quality of the garden!
