a garden painting

I love placing "indoor" things outside. I was lucky enough to score several oil paintings on canvas at an auction so I could put an easel in the garden. This one has held up very well through the winter but when it passes it's prime I have another to replace it! Next on my to-do list is to put a piano in an outdoor room.

Interesting! They used to varnish old paintings. Wonder if that would make them last longer(or shorten their outdoor life). On 1 hand "field of broken dreams" on other "oh the possibilities out there" I like the 2nd 1!! Jan

Good on you - seeing you are looking at them as 'semi-disposable' then it won't be heartbreaking when they get so weather damaged that they need replacing! You could have a new one each season perhaps? :)

It does look very pretty out there.
