Pretty. What kind of paint did you use? Will she be outside? I have one laying down and want to paint her. when she dries out from the snow. Thanks

We painted the angels with a primer and then oil based paint with a hardener added. My DH has used the hardener for painting a couple of cars he painted. They will go out into the gardens in the spring.

RE: Angel

I will post pictures when I put them into the garden but it probably won't be soon as we still have about a foot of snow here and it is just starting to get a little warmer.

I am not sure what the angels are made of. It is some kind of rosin. They were all a pale grey or off white garden statues made to look like cement. We bought them in Wall-marts. They lasted in the garden for a few years without doing anything to them. Then they started to deteriorate a bit and of course were stained from dirt and algae. We decided it was time to give them a remake. At first we just painted them white but I decided that I would like them in color so we decided to give it a try. I can't wait until I can get them out into the garden.
