I just finished making these 2 garden signs, plus one more that's not pictured. I sold these 2 to a girl at work and barely remembered to take a pic, hence the black-top background. The other one I made says "Pick Me!". I've got some more plates and need to get busy on them.

| Those are cool, frou...did you use "vinyl" cricut lettering? or paint? Either way, looks great! Love the colors! Jeanne S. |

| How pretty and clever! You will have to share your lettering secret. I suck at painting so I'm hoping you do something easier. |

I swear I posted how I painted these, but it seems to have gotten lost in outer space, oh well.... I printed the letters on my computer and then used tracing paper from the fabric store to transfer them to the plates. Then I painted them with outdoor paint, I was always good at coloring in the lines. I then sprayed with a sealer. Thanks for all the sweet comments. Frou |

lucylou, I used a washer that is about an inch and half wide and a bolt with a flat head that fits flush with the washer, then I used GEII to glue the whole thing to the back of the plate. I drilled a hole in the board and stuck the bolt through and put on a nut. I put little pieces of board on the ends of the sign to keep the nuts from scraping or banging whatever it is hangin on. I think this will hold because the plates are not very heavy. Frou |
