This is not exactly a GJ project but the process has many applications for GJ projects. This heavy glass block was drilled with that Dremel and a diamond bit.

When my DW asked for a bank to keep quarters in I went to Lowe's and purchased 8" glass blocks. They were on sale ($4.00 down from $12.00)
