| I was in a store looking for glass and gems for some projects and I overheard a woman talking about baking marbles in the oven to use in her crafts.
Has anyone ever done this. Seems kind of dangerous to me:-) |

| I've never done it. I bought some at a garage sale, they look really cool. Check out boiled or cracked marbles. Here is a set of instructions for boileing them. |

| You bake them and then put them in water while they are hot...they crackle...It was a real craze in the 50s...We tried it ...but most of ours fell apart. patti |

| I think there were lenghty discussions on that last year. Do a search for this forum on cracked marbles or baked marbles. Might find several. |
