Pansy painted child's chairs

These chairs were being thrown away and I rescued them and painted them, added a pansy design, cut out a circle for a pot of pansies and have a great plant holder.{{gwi:136067}}

Those are great. Good Job. My GSs would say those are 'potty chairs' cause they have pots in the chairs. At least that is what they called mine, lol.

Are you using them all or are they lined up to sell?

No, I'm not using them all, I always paint assembly line style. I was getting ready for a craft show, which I don't do anymore. I may have posted this picture some time ago.I still like to paint but the shows are too hard to do anymore, too much work for these "old bones".Thanks to everyone for the nice comments.

Great painting, is that the one stroke technique you used?? On my way home today I found an old wooden high chair the one that has the small round wooden balls on the tray, out for the garbage,couldn't stop my truck fast enough.LOL Don't know if I want to paint it or just restore it, DH didn't share my joy though, till I showed him the 2 shovels with perfectly good handles on that I got for him.

I know what you mean about the craft shows....I quit them a few years ago.

It just got too much hauling all that in and the worst was repacking the stuff left and hauling it back out.

I've said if I ever do it again it will be little things that are NOT HEAVY !!!!

I sold at craft shows for about 22 years.

The technique is onestroke with my own twist added. I'm certified in onestroke so basically that shows in a lot of my work. It's quick and easy for projects like this.
Talking about packing lighter weight things to craft shows, I am considering doing a garden show only if I can dream up some projects that are easier to carry. Everything I like to do is very heavy......stepping stones, birdbaths,etc.
