beautiful! Your bottom plate looks shallow enough, but remember that freezing water can break things.

I think I just found a reason to pick up all that pretty glass stuff Isee in the thrift stores! Very nice!

Looks great but I have to wonder.....aren't those of you with glass dishes afraid that the sun hitting directly on the glass might act as a magnifying glass and start a fire?
