Clay Pot Lighthouse With Solar Light

I made this a few weeks ago, then my local paper did an article about the Biloxi lighthouse restoration and I decided to make another to look like it. But I never finished it :D

This is 3 graduated sizes of clay pots and an embossed clay pot painted yellow on top. I painted the lines in it black. The solar light stake came from Family Dollar for $2.50 and I removed the stake from it and set it into the drainage hole in the bottom of the pot.

Makes a cute lighthouse! You need a little wooden sailboat with sail on nearby to complete the theme, maybe some blue flowers to represent water, & couple of small rocks to represent shore. Ha, I'm trying to put you to work!! Remember those sailboats about 12 in. long with rudder?? on bottom made of metal & single dowel sticking up with little triangle sail, you probably have 1 in basement or could make 1. Jan

thanks ya'll! this one just sits on the ground, it's kinda on the heavy side, hope it doesn't blow over! i have nautical stuff out there as well!
