this is what I did with a gate, pallet and posts last week
the pieces
the bench made from the pallet
in it's spot in the garden
I did paint the rest of the fence panels after I finished this. I'm leaving it "rustic" for now. I didn't want to paint anymore!!

| Awesome! I am a freak for white. I would love to see the bench painted white. That is a cool idea. How did you build the bench? |

thank you for the nice comments, Bright it isn't a pond just a raised bed in the back of my tiny garden area (the dark part is waiting to be replanted), I made a planter box on legs to replace the chair....if the sun comes out today I'll try to add a pic of it to this post. Diane |

Diane, that raised bed is lovely! I'd stick a mirror in it, faux pond, and be making myself a fairy garden. LOL. I love your rustic bench you made too. hugs, Karen |

| You did an impressive job transforming the pallet into a bench! Very nice work! I built a hamster cage once with wood from a discarded pallet once and it was tough going! Even drilling starter holes it was next to impossible to get screws into that super hard hardwood. But it turned out solid, just about indestructible when finally put together. I bet your bench is just as sturdy! That gate is so pretty and makes the perfect back for your bench. I love the orange of your fence. You have a beautiful yard area. |
