RE: nonacook????

Good morning!
I had water in the garden area but not in my house!
In the old garage that my grandfather built in 1929. all my 5 gallon buckets were full of water, but I don't really know how deep it was inside. things that took 2 people to pick up, were 15 feet away from where they were, including some telephone/ electric poles that were out there. The leaves that covered my black plastic were washed away.....The 4 inch pots, and the 6 packs that had not been planted yet were everywhere--some I haven't found. It was at least 20-22 inches deep on some areas of the garden.
I am thankful that my house is higher.....
We had 26 inches of rain fall in 24 hours.
One lady drowned in her car when is was washed off the road.
Lots of roads closed still because of washouts and sink holes.
Thanks for thinking of me.
I have not been on here because of trying to put things back in order outside.
I seem to take one step forward and two steps backward in the garden lately, and I am not as 'spry' as I used to be. I can work out there from 7-12 come in for lunch, and promptly go to sleep in my chair-LOL

RE: nonacook????

Thanks for checking in, have been worried about you. I know how you feel about not being able to do what you want to do. So glad you are ok and your house was spared.Guess you will find new uses for some of your "stuff"... go easy and do take those naps, they will help you dream up new ideas... hugssssss geeme
