'Designer' Shower

Just saw this image on a New York Times slideshow, linked off the multimedia show entitled "Currents" (Home & Garden section). It proves that I've become obsessed with these forums since joining only a month ago -- the first thought I had was "Someone could MAKE this! The Garden people need to see it!" Of course, the German designer version goes for $2,600 US, according to the caption, but I might begin collecting pipes. :)

Sorry, the photo is credited to Elaine Louie, and the designer is Michael Sieger. Hope it's okay to post here.

Obviously something for those who have NO imagination (and enough money to offset that)!!!

My MIL's DH hooks up something like that every year for her guests during bike-week...Hot & cold running water, and tarp/shower-curtain included. I'm certain it didn't cost more than $50 to rig up.

But a really cool idea..and it looks simple enough to put together. Going to show DH this..
