Spindle Planters

I copied sewigardnut's spindle planters and made a pair. I already had the spindles,bought from a yard sale a couple years back,and got the galvanized buckets for a quarter each at a yard sale last week.And I already had the blue paint I used on our bed bench,I crackled painted these.I'm not sure they'll stay here in this spot,because I'm still trying to finish the front porch.

Oh I just love this, I collect buckets, even the small ones you always see around the holidays, I would love to do something like this, great look.

Wow, I am really impressed with those spindle planters, those are fantastic. I looked at your whole album and must say you have some wonderful things to look at. I think your front porch with the Americana bunting is great, I love the old faucets with the water droplets coming out, the butter churn, all of it. Excellent place to call home!

Thank you everyone, I'd been wanting to make those for a long time, tried to use coffee cans :)Now if the flowers will hurry and fill out! Thanks Crafty, my DH said he wanted bunting on it before we even started building it! It looks so good and I'll have it back out before our Memorial Day fish fry and shrimp boil :) I think I've been very lucky in yard sales the last couple years,those are a few of my finds :)
