...ya know it's funny...I joined Gardenweb just a few weeks ago and found the best spot here at Garden Junk...and the name kept ringing in my head like I heard it before...well here on my work desk is a book called Garden Junk by Mary Randolf Carter (1997)...that a co-worker bought at a University yard sale...and thought of me....just dug it out and am perusing it for any good finds to tell you ladies ( and guys) about...be back later with followup.

you'll really enjoy that book. I know a few of us have a copy of it and it was topic of discussion as far back as '2002, when I joined garden junk. there are still lots of copies for anyone who still wants one, through amazon or other book companies. thanks for the reminder..mine is dusty~

Oh good so you ladies already have it as a resource. I just went through it..and mostly it is for collections of things, not so much as design. There was only one thing that I took away that struck me as makable fast and easy in there it was the scarcrows made with a simple form a ladies gardening hat an old plaid shirt and gardening gloves..so cute. There were a couple of old gnome pics in there that were cute..oh how I would love to find some vintage garden gnomes!
