Welcome to the forum! Love the rose theme that you used for your totem...lots of interesting shapes! Great job! I have one little suggestion though...if you plan to put your totem outside, you should glue a wider plate on the base to keep it from tipping over....I've learned the hard way myself.

Marlene, good thought, I'm on the lookout for a microwave turntable plate for the bottom. I read in one of the other totem threads that these work well and you can sort of bury them and layer some pea gravel on top to help anchor. Thanks for the heads up.

Very, very pretty, I love roses. I used that same heavy crystal vase (pink frost roses) in one of my very favorite totems.

Thanks Frou ...My son gave me an arrangement for Mothers Day back when he was still single in that crystal vase so I hemmed and hawed about using it, but finally decided.."Gee it's always stuck in a cupboard because it really doesn't match any decor in the house and this way it will be out and I will enjoy it every day!!!"
