I had some a few years ago. I used an upsidedown small terracotta flower pot for the base and set the clay bird on top to make a mini birdbath. They have that nice bowl shape and rim. You could paint or mosaic the whole thing then or decorate with garlands and moss and little birds, like for a fairy garden or whatever is your style. I remember thinking at the time that they would make nice gifts or if someone did craft shows an easy and fun item to make.

You could build a pagoda like tower with little pots in between the pidgeons. Not sure how to stick terra cotta to terra cotta, but there must be a way! Just don't leave out in winter if there is a place for water to gather and freeze.
