CAN. NOT. WAIT. MUST KNOW. NOW!!!!!!

 o
RE: Going From The Frying Pan To -----

I have always saved/bought old frying pans! LOL
Now just need to know what different thing dcarch
plans to do with them!!!!

 o
RE: Going From The Frying Pan To -----

well, some people use them to make large scoops for garden dirt...think it was posted a while back. Or maybe a clock. Or maybe a weapon...lol.....like to bonk a person who spoils a surprise.

 o
RE: Going From The Frying Pan To -----

I've always wanted to make on of the painted fry pans - you paint (usually) a face on the bottom, then it hangs very nicely. One that I saw was a gingerbread face.

 o
RE: Going From The Frying Pan To -----

Will it be an animal sculpture?
Kathy

 o
RE: Going From The Frying Pan To -----

Oh I can't wait to see what it is! I am going to the Treasure Chest this morning to find me a couple!

 o
RE: Going From The Frying Pan To -----

Tennis rackets? LOL

Also be prepared for a complete let down. You may not like what I have in mind :-)

RE: Going From The Frying Pan To -----

Oh I've seen people make bird baths out of old pans. It's quite easy, all you do is remove the handle, drill a hole in the center, add a washer and rubber ring and attach it to a post.

RE: Going From The Frying Pan To -----

This is what a friend gave me(a fellow mosaicer) when we had done a "frying pan challenge" on the Stained Glass/Mosaics forum...I get soooo many compliments on this, it is hanging in my kitchen...

Here is a link that might be useful: Canadian Squirrelly's Frypan

RE: Just another thought

Just another thought - I could use an old frying pan as a fly swatter in my yard --- I think the mosquitos here have evolved into flying vampires .... LOL

 o
RE: Going From The Frying Pan To -----

Rusty, if there are "flying saucers"(ufo), why not flying frying pan!!!lol! TMG: I won't visit you anytime soon...I seem to have the champagne of blood...lol!Good to see your frying pan, was that the one you made or the one you recieved?

A thrift store just opened up in town and they have old expired non-stick frying pans up the ying-yang. I was thinking...maybe...stepping stones??
