Found these in a thrift store. They were asking $3. I tried to get them down to $2. Go go, but I just had to have them so I paid the $3. I thought they would make great pot feet.

Here is a link that might be useful: Brass pot feet

Those are really cute. I guess with the price of metals these days that anything metal will be more at thrift stores etc.

Totally love them... I'm thinking they should be the feet for a totem or coffee pot person. Hurray for you!!!

I love these claw feet! I would pay $33 for them, providing I had that sum to spend, and usually I do not!

I love all claw feet and have several beloved pieces of furniture with claw feet. (Also have 12 real claw feet of the biological kind on my dogs and cat. LOL)

Here are miniature claw feet I made 30 yrs ago for our old coffee maker that used to wobble on our un-level countertop. The coffee maker's feet fit inside the drilled holes on top of my carved claw feet and then it sat squarely on the counter. The feet have embedded brass claws that don't show well in the photo. When the coffee maker died I retired the feet to my curio cabinet, as our replacement coffee maker didn't need them.

What have either of you done with your claw feet? Hopefully something very whimsical.

RE: purpose of feet

As I said, I created my feet to restore balance to my old coffee maker several decades ago. Subsequent coffee makers haven't needed these feet so they now reside in my curio cabinet.

I have some of those laurastheme. We had a heavy Fisher cast iron wood stove. The legs of the stove sat in the feet to spread the weight a little. The stoves came in baby bear, mama bear and papa bear sizes. I have a Momma bear.
