I Have No Idea

I told my husband that he should bring me home some parts from work if he was just going to get rid of thm. I expected some little springs or dead circuit boards. This is what I got. They are some kind of gauges from an airplane cockpit. They were something that was going to get scrapped. I am at a loss as to what to do with them. The faces may be cool incorporated into something, but what?

They do look cool when the housing is off them

@ Marlene, I thought the same thing. Isn't it funny how we will think of people we really don't know when we some piece of treasure. The other day I got a bunch of bird houses at the junk store for about .50 each and I one looked like a cabin with a moose on it. I thought "wouldn't Kirkus love this for his woodsy yard" and I don't even know what the man looks like. I feel like I have friends from all over that I have never met.

Have you looked at any of the Steampunk sites?
Just google 'steampunk'--they make things from all
sorts of stuff. My son-in-law told me about these
sites, but I hardly ever have the pieces to use to
make things. All kinds of gears, computer pieces, and clock faces etc.
I love to go there and look sometimes.
Or possibly google 'pinterest steampunk'.
