| I hope I'm not boring you with all of our recent posts! (I got a new camera and am in seventh heaven using it! LOL) Here is an idea from Sandy (aka use2bcapecodr). On our recent vacation, we bought several antique, glass floats. We placed them in our watering can water feature by our front porch. (Excuse the tallness of the plants in the feature! They went WILD this year!) The glass in the water in the sunshine is sooo beautiful! Just wanted to share! Thanks for the idea, Sandy! Bear Hugs! Kirk

| That is a wonderful idea! It looks great! I always love to see wet glass in the sunshine. It always sparkles so much. It is like they were meant to work together in some greater plan or something. I love your watering can fountain. I bought a metal wash basin and watering can several years ago to make one but never got any further than that. I might just have to pull those out sometime soon and try it. ~Micki~ |

| I love that! It looks so peaceful. I've always loved the Japanese fishing floats, and have a dozen or so in my pond as well. Some antique some new. They stay in there year round, and freeze does not hurt them. My Grandmother spent loads of time in Japan in the 50s and when she returned she had ideas. She built a Koi pond that was about 20 by 6 ft, and all us grandchildren fell in at one visit or another trying to catch one of the floats..lol I've loved them ever since, they remind me of her, and we lost her when I was 15 or so. Excellent job, very nice pond. |
