Here's an idea for you

When a neighbor's glass covered dish had an accident he gave me the broken top. Of course I took it! I wanted to see if I could make a fitted lid for a tufa bowl that was sitting in storage and wondered if I could up-cycle this shiny piece of glass at the same time. I clipped off the sharp edges and embedded the glass bobble(?) in the lid.
I've seen many decorative glass lids at thrift stores and they are inexpensive now I have several other ideas bouncing around in my brain like BBs in a boxcar.
Anyway, this small tufa pot/bowl now has a fitted lid. Hope you enjoy the pix.

Great job!
I have used glass lids for dish gardens if they
were deep enough. Hung them in macrame hangers.
