I have been saving 'ends' for about a month to do something like this. Don't have quite enough yet. Don't use many plastic bottles--

I really like this...so do you just cut the bottom off of the soda bottle with scissors??? Instructions please!! I love shiny things and this sure looks like it would fit the bill. My daughter says that I must have been a magpie in a previous life! ;-)

Syble

you can use either scissors or a knife which ever is best for you.I also put bells on the ends to get a 'tingle' of them when the wind blows.

Wow! That is so clever! When I first saw the picture, I thought it was glass! Thanks for the idea!

I take my bottles to the bandsaw and cut off the bottom.
Aren't bandsaws wonderful for a lot of things-LOL!
Then I have been just putting them in a plastic
bag until I get enough to make something. I have
only cut one into a flower, with scissors, to see
what I could do with it. They are easy to do.

Very pretty! That's a great idea.
If you can cut the top off without messing it up too much you could make something with the top too. They would be a nice bell shape.
