sealant question plus picture

I am having trouble adding pictures to posts, so sorry, but had start a new one. anyway here is my mushroom, top appears to be glass glued on and the bottom is a mosaic glass candle holder. Top came from lamp. I am afraid to leave it outside as is, want to seal it.
